The human mind is the greatest phenomenon that must be continuously studied more than anything else. When talking about the mind and intellectual development, there are some things I want to share in this article or my own theory.

Human beings begin to form consciousness and thought at the age of about six.

In this stage, which is childhood and lasts from about six to twelve years old, the child sees only two colors: white for boys because it is the color of good that always prevails in superhero movies he watches, and pink for girls, which is the color of dresses and princesses in children's movies. 

Here, the person's life is truly rosy, and childhood is probably the happiest stage in your life because you don't bear the consequences of any decision and don't make decisions at all.

 For example, the parent pays the school fees or sends them with the child in an envelope, and the school asks the child or the parents for school supplies, which the parents buy for their children. So, you're not required to do anything as a person; on the contrary, all responsibility lies with the parents alone, and you just enjoy everything around you.

Then comes the stage of adolescence, which is the most dangerous stage in a person's life, and it's not strange that its name in Arabic, "Al-Murahiqah," comes from the verb "Yarhiq" or "murhiq," which means "to exhaust" or "exhausted," because it truly exhausts many things in this stage.



The most important thing I want to talk about is the shock

Mental shock

The shock of the boy when he realizes that there are no superheroes and no one as rich as Bruce Wayne (Batman) or as powerful as Clark (Superman), and if he likes a girl and finds it difficult to talk to her because of his social status, there's no spider to bite him and change him like Peter Parker (Spider-Man). The girl also realizes that there are no longer any princesses, and there's no prince on a horse to save her from her problems, and that Cinderella and Snow White are just myths, and life has more suffering than fairy tales.

The shock of time

He has to deal with his problems in reality, and the shock is also that there is no time like there was in the previous stage. 

For example, childhood in school is about five or six years in primary school, but then it's three years in middle school and three years in high school, so there's no long school stage.

 After the preparatory stage, he starts to make decisive decisions in education, whether to continue with science or literature, to study sports or history, biology or geography.

Shock of materialism

The shock when he realizes the value of money; he no longer finds everything he asks for as he used to. I mean, in the past, he didn't even ask, meaning that parents used to buy clothes before school or Christmas , for summer and winter , and they might be his older brother's clothes or someone older in the family.

 Also, school schedules, expenses, books, and school supplies were requested by the teacher or the school, and they provided them. 

But now, you as an adult need to know what you need and ask for, and your request may also be rejected. And not all clothes will be dresses or bright colors like before; now, you've grown up, and you have to be careful about your clothes and yourself.

Physical change shock

Alongside the shock of change between childhood and adolescence, meaning he starts to ask himself when his appearance changed like this, when he became tall, and when he started to have hair on his face, and so on. And whether he, his parents, or even his relatives and friends start to compare between the child and the adolescent in front of them, all these shocks are related to the physiological changes that occurred in his body. The same goes for girls who feel these changes more difficultly than boys, such as weight gain; they must accept it, and menstruation; they must deal with it.

Attention shock

You are no longer the center of attention, my friend; you are no longer the spoiled child you used to be. There is another child in the family, or there are other things that deserve more attention than your bumping into the edge of a chair in the house's hallway From my point of view, the impact of lack of attention may be more dangerous than we think, as the consequences of lack of attention on the part of the family may lead to very bad consequences for adolescents.

The stage of salvation

the end of the shocks of adolescence and the beginning of the formation of the youth stage. You must make sure at that time that there are no more shocks in your life and that you have begun to deal with your new life as it is, its sweetness and its bitterness. 

Everything you have learned from the past has been learned.

A significant part of young people goes through difficulties in their lives because they have not completely rid themselves of the problems of adolescence.

I do not want to say a healthy form because in the end, they are pressures that must be eliminated, no matter how difficult, and they will certainly leave a mark on your life, 

but the most important thing is to get rid of them.

Get rid of the parents' restrictions and rely on yourself, get rid of the pressures of time and attention, and realize that you are not the center of the universe. Dealing with childhood problems and facing the fact that your childhood was not entirely rosy.

Ghosts

Be careful; these shocks or problems that you face or have faced, or that your son is facing, are not easy things.

If they are not dealt with properly, they will become ghosts that haunt you throughout your life or, at least, in your youth.

You will fight these ghosts in every relationship and in every situation, and the period of adolescence will not end from my point of view until you get rid of these ghosts.

Black spot

Must be taken into consideration that there are neighbors in the same country, city, or on another continent whose lives are ghosts, they did not have the opportunity for a quiet childhood or a healthy adolescence, and therefore, their youth is at the mercy of the wind.

You must know that passing through these shocks is a blessing and that iron must pass through fire to become harder.

Parents, friends, and society are not to blame for these problems; it is your responsibility, and you alone must get rid of them.
